Hi! I'm Lauren

I was once where you are. I didn’t wear most of the clothes I owned, I was constantly shopping, never knowing what I needed, and I spent countless mornings trying to figure out what to wear.

I tried several methods to simplify my wardrobe, including the capsule wardrobe (a collection of clothing you can mix and match to make several outfits) and the 10-item wardrobe (consisting of 10 core pieces for each season). While I loved the concepts behind these systems, I had a number of challenges. Certain pieces didn't go well together, I struggled to remember all the outfit combinations, and these methods often led me to buy new clothes instead of getting use out of what I already owned. I couldn’t help but think it would be easiest to just focus on outfits. I started by creating work outfits I could wear on rotation to streamline my weekday mornings. It worked so well that I created a few casual outfits for the weekend and a few dressy outfits for nights out. I donated what I didn’t like or need anymore, and I purchased the few pieces I actually needed. Anything that didn’t fit or make it into an outfit, I stored.

It dawned on me that I needed significantly fewer clothes that I thought and for the first time in my life, I felt like my closet was complete. I was able to wear my entire wardrobe, get ready in minutes, and I didn’t feel the need to constantly shop. My closet went from a place of overwhelm and frustration to a place of calm and inspiration.

There are so many benefits that come with this system, from saving time and money, maintaining an organized and decluttered closet effortlessly, feeling put together and confident in your clothes, to packing for trips easier.

I love teaching others how to refine their wardrobe down to exactly what they need while looking and feeling their best every day. I promise you your life will improve when you decide to start showing up to every occasion in something you feel good in!
